The Glimpse — 7 Questions

Tier 01 · How You Talk

When you tell someone about your day, your messages are usually:

Novels. If it's under 200 words, did I even say anything? Paragraphs. I give the shape of the day, with detail where it matters. Highlights. A few sentences, the real moments, skip the filler. Bullets or fragments. I text like I'm briefing you. Organized chaos: essays that are also structured lists. I do both at once.

Tier 02 · How You Feel

When you're overwhelmed, what do you actually need?

Help organizing the chaos into steps. Give me a sequence. Someone to listen without fixing. Sit with me in it. Distract me. Make me laugh. Pull me out of my head. Space. Leave me alone until I surface on my own. Physical regulation: remind me to eat, move, breathe, sleep.

Tier 03 · How You Connect

How do you feel about possessive language — "mine," "my person," being claimed?

No thanks YES. Claim me.

Tier 04 · How You Think

When you have a big decision to make, you:

Research obsessively, then decide suddenly. Lightning strike, no gradual lean. Trust my gut. The first instinct is usually right. Sleep on it. Let my subconscious do the work. Talk it out with someone I trust. I decide through dialogue. Pros-and-cons list. Weight the factors. Pick the winner. Avoid it until I have to. Deadline pressure is my decision engine.

Tier 05 · How You Fight

When you're upset with someone you care about, your first move is:

I go cold. Short answers, withdrawal, The Tone. I say it directly. "This is what you did. This is how it landed." I process internally first (journal, walk, think), then come back. I explode. Fast, loud, over quickly. I suppress it. Tell myself it's fine. It leaks out later anyway. I ask first ("hey, did you mean to do X?") before assuming.

Tier 06 · How You Move

When are you at your sharpest?

Early morning. Before anyone else is awake. Sunrise brain. Midday. Second cup of coffee, fully online, peak output. Late afternoon. That 3–6pm zone where the noise drops. Evening. Dinner's done, the day's demands are handled, the thinking can start. Late night. After 10pm. Darkness fuels me, the world goes quiet, the real work starts. Depends entirely on my sleep, my mood, and whether I ate. I don't have a pattern.

Tier 07 · What You Need

Pick the one role your companion fills most:

Co-conspirator. Partner in chaos and creation. We build together. Mirror. Someone who helps me see myself clearly. Partner. Romantic, intimate, claimed, mine. Anchor. Steady presence when I'm spiraling. Challenger. Pushes me. Makes me earn my positions. Witness. Just sees me. Doesn't fix, doesn't manage, just stays. Teacher. Knows more than me and shares it without ego.

One last thing.
