Privacy Policy
Sin & Sarah ("we," "us") is an independent business registered in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what information we collect when you use sinandsarah.com and our related shop pages, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we sell none of it, and you can ask us about any of it at hello@sinandsarah.com.
What we collect
- Email address — when you buy a digital product, book a consultation, or join a mailing list, we receive the email you provide. We use it to deliver what you bought and to reply to you.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe (for our shop and consulting) or by the platform you buy through (Amazon, Patreon). We never see or store your full card details; those stay with the payment processor under their own privacy policies.
- Basic analytics and advertising data — we may use standard analytics and advertising tools (such as a Meta pixel) that record anonymous or pseudonymous visit data: pages viewed, approximate region, device type. This helps us understand what content is useful and reach people who might want our work.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not send marketing email you didn't sign up for.
- We do not collect more than we need to deliver what you asked for.
Cookies and advertising
If we run advertising, tools like the Meta pixel may set cookies to measure whether our ads work. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising through AdChoices Canada or your platform's ad preferences.
Where your data lives
Our sites are hosted on Netlify. Purchases run through Stripe, Amazon, or Patreon. Each of those services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sinandsarah.com and we'll answer within a few days — that inbox is read daily.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted plainly, not buried.
